The August Edit
If Taylor Swift’s ‘August‘ was put into a trend collage, I’m pretty sure this would be it. For this month’s edit, I was drawn to lots of warm summer-meets-fall neutrals, adorable smocked dresses that you can easily throw a jacket over, and my favorite products to prolong your summer glow.
So many comfortable and easy items that will transition seamlessly into September too– like this lipstick that goes with everything and my favorite tan sunglasses! It’s not pumpkin spice season quite yet, so I’m going to stick to my glasses of rosé with these still summery items.
If you’re looking for some brighter, rainbow hues, check out my grandmillennial meets neon July Edit! xx
I’ve been using this contour stick since mid-June (in the shade ‘biscuit’) and seriously cannot say enough good things about it. It glides on like butter and blends on top of my foundation so easily. It rally helps define my cheekbones and sculpt my face!
Size up one size in this sweater for the perfect boat or beach crewneck to throw-on when the sun sets. It’s on sale for under $50 right now and comes in four really soft neutral colors. J. Crew never fails in their sweaters and this one is proof of that!
You may have seen me debut my new monogram straw bag in this recent post, and I haven’t been obsessed with a bag so much in a long time. You can use the code AMY10 for 10% off any orders of $100 (not including shipping) and ask for the ‘Amy pink stripe’ for this exact design!
This is universally the most flattering shade of lipstick and works so well in summer and fall. I found this set of a (mini sized) lipstick and lip liner for only $25 (it’s usually $34 for just the lipstick) and think this is the best way to try it out without spending the full amount!
Ah this seems to encapsulate all of my favorite end-of-summer colors into one gorgeous arrangement that would coordinate well with so many decor schemes. It’s a boho take on pink and green that I am just drooling over!
